More Info
Identification
Aphids are tiny insects, or garden pests, that can be green, yellow, brown, gray, or black.
Damage
Aphids suck the juices out of the plants. They love to get together in large groups, attacking tender, new leaves and underneath the leaf.
Prevention
You can prevent aphids by including a lot of flowering plants, including pollinators. These flowers will attract insects that eat aphids.
Treatment Without Chemicals
You can remove by hand or spray them off with a heavy stream of water. Be careful not to harm your plants.
Treatment With Chemicals
You can use horticulture oil, insecticidal soap, or neem-based insecticidal products to get rid of aphid infestations
